Job Description

  • Develop and communicate the overall SRE-Strategy aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of SREs, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure and maintain system reliability and set performance goals.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the evolving technology landscape.
  • Drive initiatives to continuously improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Monitor the response to incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective post-incident analysis.
  • Manage budgets for SRE initiatives, making informed decisions about resource allocation.
  • Identify potential risks to system reliability and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of relevant working experience with a strong technical background (experience in leading SRE and/or DevOps teams).
  • Working knowledge of monitoring systems and incident response procedures to ensure proactive issue identification and resolution.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to weigh several choices and suggest a course of action.
  • Effective communication ability and comfortable interacting with people of various backgrounds, skill levels, and experiences.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and distributed systems.
  • Strong exposure in driving transformation programmes and process for constant improvement.
  • An understanding of business goals and the ability to align SRE initiatives with broader organizational objectives, demonstrating the value of reliability engineering to our stakeholders.
  • Fluent german language skills would be an advantage
