AECOM is seeking to hire a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist to support our exciting project in Bucharest. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Develops fundamental knowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and principles including effects on financial performance.
Develops familiarity with data sources for schedule development.
Ability to identify and investigate project schedule variance.
Collects data and updates and produces scheduling reports.
Assists in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS).
Develops familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting.
Possesses a fundamental understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. Able to review and understand engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic
Assists in assembling data for schedule updating.
Assists in the measurement of project schedule progress.
Develops knowledge of scope control, change management, and earned value methodology.
Supports data gathering and produces an initial analysis for schedule baseline development and maintenance data gathering.
Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in economy/ Economical Engineering/ Engineering/ Information Technology
+ 2 years of experience related to project planning & scheduling with the extensive use of computer software scheduling and cost tracking tools.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Teams, Outlook)
Proficient with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6
English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with an engineering, construction management or related field with project controls or related field
Experience with cost and resource loading, management, and planning
Experience working with program level schedules, cost, and resource budgeting, leveling
Proven experience performing on Risk Analysis on projects/ programs
Proficient in Power BI
Ability to lead a team, clear communication, writing and reporting skill
