Job Description

AECOM’s Water Infrastructure Team in Rockhampton is looking for a passionate and experienced engineer to help deliver a range of regionally significant infrastructure projects.

What a day in this role could involve:

  • You will have the opportunity to get involved in managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for design projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
  • You will guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ / CPEng.
  • An interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
  • A passion for guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers.
