Job Title: Graphic Design InternReports To: General ManagerLocation: Aurora, ILDuration: January - August 2025Salary/Position: Unpaid InternshipPosition Summary:The Graphic Design Intern will assist the marketing and creative teams in developing engaging visual content for River Light FC across various platforms. This role is ideal for a creative individual looking to gain hands-on experience in sports design, digital marketing, and branding. The intern will help produce eye-catching graphics for social media, websites, promotional campaigns, and in-stadium experiences.Key Responsibilities:Graphic Creation: Design digital assets, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and promotional materials.Game Day Graphics: Develop visual content for game day promotions, such as match announcements, player spotlights, score updates, and fan engagement graphics.Print Design: Assist in designing print materials, including posters, flyers, tickets, merchandise designs, and signage for game day and community events.Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design work aligns with the team's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all digital and print materials.Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the marketing, social media, and community relations teams to create visuals for special promotions, sponsorship activations, and events.Video Graphics Support: Assist in the creation of motion graphics and video assets for promotional videos, highlights, and in-game features (experience with video editing is a plus).Merchandise Design: Help develop creative concepts for team merchandise, including t-shirt designs, scarves, and other fan gear.Creative Brainstorming: Participate in creative meetings and contribute ideas for new content, campaigns, and fan engagement strategies.Photography & Editing: Support with editing game day and event photos for use on social media, the website, and other marketing materials.Feedback & Revisions: Receive and implement feedback from the creative team to adjust and improve designs.Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a related field.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
