Senior Backend Engineer

Aerospike is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing the Aerospike Cloud Platform. Join a dynamic team shaping the future of data management.

Skills

Excellent foundation in computer science and algorithms
Experience in developing distributed, multitenant backend services
Proficient in statically typed back-end programming languages (Go, Kotlin, Java, Scala)
Experience with major public cloud providers and databases
Experience with containerization and orchestration, Git, CI/CD, and security standards

Responsibilities

Communicate with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to progress technology roadmap
Write quality code, build prototypes, resolve issues, and optimize backend services for performance and scalability
Develop and maintain distributed services with containers and orchestration
Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met
