Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft, including engines, power plants, and other components. You will ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality, in compliance with all relevant specifications and regulations.Responsibilities• Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins, and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.• Update maintenance and repair logs.• Run diagnostic tests.• Perform routine maintenance operations or repair of aircraft, including aircraft engines, power plants, and components according to all specifications.• Conduct hourly, daily, and monthly inspections and examinations of aircraft components for leaks, cracks, and other issues.• Perform inspections during assembly and after repair or installation of components.• Document maintenance procedures including component damage, origin, and condition.• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.• Perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair, and alterations of aircraft.• Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.• Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions.• Operate power and hand tools, such as cranes, grinders, and wrenches.• Complete all tasks within the allotted time frame and to quality standards.• Promote safety within the workplace and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and address safety concerns.• Other duties as assigned by leadership.Essential Skills• A&P license preferred (will consider unlicensed candidates with good work history).• Experience with heavy maintenance on ERJ-135 and 145 aircraft preferred.• Minimum of 2+ years of experience on any type of aircraft.• Ability to use diagnostic tests and gauges.• Proficiency with power and hand tools.• Strong troubleshooting skills.• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and maintenance documents.Additional Skills & Qualifications• Experience with CRJ, Embraer, C-check, ERJ, heavy maintenance, and jet aircraft.• Great opportunity for candidates separating from the military seeking civilian experience.Why Work Here?Join a growing company that is expanding its airline and charter operations. Exposure to noise and vibrations when testing engines is common. Shifts generally include 3 or 4 days from 7 AM - 7 PM, with flexibility required for both 1st (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) shifts, either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday.
