Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description
We are a truck outfitting and customization shop that specializes in transforming bare-bones trucks and vans to meet customer specifications. We also perform repairs on similar equipment, such as mounting dump beds onto trucks or adding snow plows to the front. Other customizations include adding salt spreaders, racks for vans, and cages for landscaping companies. We are looking for a combination Mechanic/Welder. If you are stronger in one area, we will provide more work in that specialization. This equipment installer position involves both mechanic work on large trucks and welding/fabrication, with approximately 20% welding and 80% mechanic work.Responsibilities• Perform electrical wiring (radios, switches, and safety lights).• Install hydraulic systems (valves, hoses, pumps, plumbing).• Perform various assembly jobs.• Conduct MIG welding (if experienced).Essential Skills• Mechanic• Troubleshooting• Repair• Mechanical• Welding• Fabrication• MIG weldingAdditional Skills & Qualifications• Experience with farm work• Mechanic• FabricationWhy Work Here?We offer excellent benefits, including a tool reimbursement program, shop insurance for all tools, and the opportunity to work independently with your own bay.Work Environment1st shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday).
