In this role, you will be integral to assembling and integrating sub-systems and components for our autonomous surface vessels.Duties:- Assemble and integrate sub-systems and components according to engineering specifications and production guidelines.- Perform detailed inspections and testing of sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to address assembly issues and implement improvements.- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any deviations or issues encountered.- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.- Contribute to the development of assembly procedures and best practices.- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation for assembly processes.Hard Skills• Interpret mechanical drawings• 3+ years of complex electro-mechanical assembly experience• Wire Harness• Manufacturing, R&D or start-up environmentJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.Work EnvironmentSchedule: Must be open to work in between 7am & 7pm, seeing as the shift may evolve from a 7am-5pm to a 10am-8pm, based on business needs.Climate Controlled assembly shop and corporate headquarters offices.Very friendly, driven, collaborative culture.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
