Manager, Software Engineering
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. They are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager with a track record of leading high performing teams.
Skills
- Proficiency in backend programming languages like Python
- Experience with front end frameworks like React or AngularJs
- Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS
- Experience with data frameworks like Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Airflow
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Analytics teams to implement business critical features
- Create a long term technical roadmap
- Coach, develop, retain, and provide growth plans for team members
- Establish OKRs and critical metrics
- Mentor engineers to improve designs and code quality
- Own availability and performance of team systems
- Build a strong engineering culture
- Actively participate in creating an inclusive environment
- Build relationships with people across engineering and other organizations
- Participate in hiring engineers and growing talent
