About Us

At AHV, we’re transforming the future of farming. Our mission is to empower dairy farmers to create healthier, more productive herds while contributing to a sustainable and resilient food chain. If you’re passionate about paving the way for a better future for animals, people, and the planet, AHV offers you the opportunity to thrive.

As part of our preventative health agenda, AHV has a firm focus on data monitoring to 1) identify individual animals in need of support and 2) track the success of our products at herd and cow level. As part of these ongoing efforts, we are seeking to recruit a Data Coordinator.

What you’ll do

You will be extracting milk recording/ robot/ herd management data from varying sources, process them and create progress reports for customer farms. You will support technical staff with the delivery of such reports on farm.  You will further liaise with sales staff and support them with their data needs. Further duties include:

  • Contributing to the design, execution and data analysis of research trials, leading to the publication of marketing materials and scientific research papers.
  • Facilitating routine processed data output to sales consultants (e.g. on cows in need of support).
  • Establishing relationships with farmers clients and collaborating with them to understand their support needs, suggesting solutions.
  • Being an integral part of the AHV Global computer science/data analysis team (based in the Netherlands), thereby streamlining the integration of UK data needs with the AHV global data processing agenda. Conducting research to gather information needed by managers or other workers in the global AHV team.
  • Aligning tasks, priorities and learnings with the AHV data analyst responsible for the Republic of Ireland.
  • Providing (guided) technical support to on-farm investigations and product administration.
  • Establishing and maintaining mutually-beneficial relationships with data providers.
  • Occasionally, representing AHV on commercial stands (e.g. at fairs, shows).
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Supporting the AHV UK managerial team with the analysis of commercial (sales) data, driving growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of real-world dairy farm data extraction & analysis, making a difference to animal health & farm sustainability and sales. If innovating and streamlining the longitudinal data service to our customers enthuses you then we would like to hear from you.

Education/Experience:
