Head of Design

Airbase is looking for a seasoned Head of Design to lead the product design team and shape the trajectory of the product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong knack for design, lead with empathy, and solve complex problems.

Skills

Strong portfolio in product design
Experience in mobile and web patterns
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience with design tools like Figma

Responsibilities

Lead a geographically distributed team of product designers and UX writers.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering counterparts to develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy.
Balance long-term vision with short-term execution, rallying the team around key objectives.
Oversee the creation of wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Leverage insights to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Mentor designers and play a pivotal role in recruiting top design talent.
