In this role, you will be working within a cross functional team of highly technical stakeholders to drive impactful results for Airbnb, and be involved in the end-to-end project lifecycle right from problem definition to creating dashboards for sharing insights.Responsibilities:Partner with the business to understand the organization and its goals in order to ensure prioritization of highest impact initiatives.Define, create and visualize metrics for problem definition for tracking project success/workstream health.Collaborate with technical owners to deliver on impactful insights.Create dashboards for weekly reporting.Build strong relationships and trust with stakeholders, keeping them and their teams engaged in the projectRequirements:4 years in a data analyst or similar roleHigh proficiency in SQL and Airflow for developing queries and data pipelinesExperience with Tableau or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboardsAbility to work independently on analytical problemsAdaptable self-starter who is skilled at working in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsAble to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needsAble to team effectively with others and build relationships at all levels, both within the team and with stakeholders Preferred Requirements:Statistics familiarity or backgroundExperience with Big Data/Analytics platforms/languages like Hive, Python, R is a big plusExperience with Trust & Safety domain and metricsBelonging & AccommodationsAirbnb is committed to working with the best and brightest people from the broadest talent pool possible.
