We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Senior Manager, Risk Policy, Procedure and Operations at Airbnb. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing and implementing robust policies and operational processes to mitigate payment-related risks and ensure the smooth functioning of our payment operations.
The Difference You Will Make
Within this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive risk management strategies. Your expertise in payment systems and operational efficiency will be instrumental in safeguarding Airbnb's payment processes against various risks, managing down losses while preserving a best-in-class customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining effective policies and procedures. Your keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills will enable you to identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy. You and your team will be responsible for balancing the management of losses with revenue enablement and supporting the business in meeting its strategic objectives.
As a leader in the Payments team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Trust, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering, to ensure alignment and adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively and influence key decision-makers will be essential in driving the adoption of new policies and procedures across the organization.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
