Aircraft Charter Sales Specialist

Job Overview

BLADE Urban Air Mobility Inc. is looking for a driven "private aviation" professional (who is currently based in North America) to join our sales team. We are looking for someone with, ideally, 4-5 years of experience within the industry. The primary role of the Charter Sales Specialist is growing our charter sales revenue. This is accomplished by sourcing aircraft and providing prices for requested trips and providing creative and effective solutions which align customer needs with company resources. She or he shall maintain a high level of product knowledge of all company products and services, possess excellent negotiation and prospecting skills as well as the ability to demonstrate an overall high motivation for selling, and customer service. The Charter Sales Specialist must be well-organized, self-motivated, outgoing, and must be able to handle the complete sales cycle, beginning with the initial opportunity, qualifying potential clients, sourcing aircraft availability, pricing, payment, and confirmation process.

Job Requirements

Respond to charter pricing requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner.
Manage and build relationships with charter operators and high-net-worth private clients (to generate new business).
Working closely with flier relations, flier experience, flight operations, and corporate leadership to ensure flights are executed at the highest level of service and communications throughout.
Accessible by phone outside of office hours, as needed, in a dynamic, on-demand industry.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

You MUST have established relationships with Part 135 Fixed-wing operators.
You are a results-oriented dynamo with a continuous drive to excel and achieve/exceed goals.
Embedded in you is a well-developed resistance to cratering under stress.
(Without contractual conflict) having an existing book of clients is highly preferential
You are capable of working independently, and as a part of a team, under continuous pressure.
You bring an outstanding customer service orientation and a professional presentation style.
You are known to have the ability to multitask, organize workflows and use your time efficiently.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
You are a self-starter with the ability to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
You must be proactive in identifying issues and proposing realistic solutions to decision-makers.
You are comfortable working with all levels of people as well as being hands-on during the entire sales cycle
You must be customer and results-oriented, with a strong commercial acuity.
