Flier Relations Associate - Hudson Yards

FLIER RELATIONS ASSOCIATE (Hudson Yards - Full-time Office)

The Flier Relations Associate will manage flier correspondence via phone, email, and other methods of communication to ensure an exceptional experience for BLADE fliers. This key team member will support corporate and charter Sales and Account Management efforts, day-to-day flight operations and on-the-ground Customer Experience work as needed. The Flier Relations Associate will work closely alongside BLADE's Operations and Customer Experience teams to maintain a working knowledge of all BLADE products, and to escalate and triage flier issues as needed.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage inbound flier correspondence via phone, email, chat, etc.
  • Communicate flight changes (i.e. delays, weather updates, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Ensure data integrity in Zendesk and that all tickets are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain working knowledge of all BLADE flight and ground products and services
  • Work closely alongside Operations, Ground and Customer Experience teams on all flight updates or changes
  • Partner with our Marketing and Tech. Development teams to identify and escalate opportunities to better engage with fliers, and/or to improve flier experience
  • Refer to passenger history in Zendesk on past flights, overall spend and staff feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year experience preferred in sales, customer service, or a customer success role, ideally at a high-growth company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate well under pressure
  • Experience with Zendesk software platform preferred
  • Prior sales or account management experience with high-touch clients
