JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare and spray paint parts and assemblies. May be required to work with higher grade painters while in training.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares surfaces and uses spray gun or other methods to apply primer or other painted surfaces to small parts and assemblies on a routine or repetitive basis.

o Selects and adjusts spray gun in accordance with instructions, performs masking and
sanding duties as required prior to painting and checks own work for coverage.

Performs dip painting as required. May perform stencil operations.
Mixes paint according to specifications.
Adjusts and cleans spray gun and equipment or other company tools checked out for performing job assignments with appropriate solvants.
Responsible only for own work and quality of own work.
Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Particularly disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to paint fumes.
