Airline Program Analyst

Your role in helping us shape the future:

You will play an exciting role working alongside our Program Managers to deliver satellite connectivity solutions for our airline partners. You will have a burning desire to operate in a dynamic program management environment, drawing on your previous project support experience. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be vital to help manage our equipment and software for large commercial jet aircraft.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Showcase your Microsoft Project and Project Web App (PWA) skills to communicate project status to the team.
  • Support the Program Manager to identify and mitigate risks and issues across the airline portfolio.
  • Demonstrate your Microsoft SharePoint knowledge and expertise including flow creation and delivery.
  • Highlight your skills by independently leading designated projects that include software deployments, hardware campaign management, and more!
  • Control all material orders via Navision to communicate our orders to our material planning team, including the generation of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Coordinate the distribution of critical program documentation including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other National Aviation Authority aircraft documents to airline partners in close collaboration with our Program Managers.
  • Display your communications and customer focus by facilitating airline partner meetings and other PMO / activities as requested. You’ll be responsible for tracking action delivery drawing on subject matter expertise within our business.
  • Work with our Software Development team to support the initiation, control, management, and distribution of required Software to our Airline Partners.
  • Utilize your understanding of Power BI and Tableau to clearly present Business Intelligence data for enhanced decision making.
  • Grow personally and professionally through mentorship and experience sharing.

You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Aviation or Business discipline. (An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • A minimum of 2- years of recent, relevant experience in creating and maintaining schedules in MS Project, using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (MS Navision preferred).
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management principles (risks / issues / reporting)
  • Experience working in cross-functional project teams and being a team player.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor required for interface with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic working environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • This role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee).

It would be nice if you had:

  • Additional years of relevant experience
  • Technical aptitude and experience within the aviation / airline industry preferred.
  • PMP training / experience working in an environment practicing PMP techniques.
  • Experience of budgetary management within PMO environments.
