As Partnerships Manager - Startup and VC Ecosystem, EMEA, you will be joining as a core member of Airwallex’s Commercial team in EMEA. You will be responsible for building out an exciting new vertical within the Partnerships team. You will be primarily focused on generating and activating partnerships with accelerators, VCs, and the wider startup ecosystem.
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly-driven Partnerships Manager, who has 6+ years experience working in fintech or a high-growth environment (payments experience is a bonus).
We operate in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 3 days a week working in our office in Holborn, London.
What You'll Be Doing...
You will lead, own, and develop a partnerships strategy for the startup and VC ecosystem that aligns with our overall EMEA business vision
You will be responsible for generating, activating, and managing partnerships with accelerators, VCs, and startup partners in EMEA
You will coordinate due diligence processes with prospective partners and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Product and Legal
You will be responsible for the activation of partners, working with the EMEA Marketing and Sales teams to maximise commercial impact
You will position yourself as an industry expert in the startup and VC ecosystem and establish relationships with potential partners and key decision-makers in the industry
You will represent Airwallex at startup events and conferences, as well as speak on relevant panels and webinars
What You Bring...
Experience working with Saas and technology companies and understand how to run product-led partnerships end-to-end
Demonstrable interest in the fintech, e-commerce, and/or travel sectors
An existing network of VC and PE relationships that you can utilise to build this programme (preferably in Saas, eCommerce, and Travel)
Very comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (G-Suite, Looker) and building and delivering presentations for partners and clients
6+ years of work experience in a partnerships, strategy, or product role, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (Saas, fintech, or equivalent)
