Cashier ReceptionistALDI is seeking Cashiers and Stockers to elevate the customer shopping experience. Help us achieve this goal by working collaboratively to operate registers, keep the shelves stocked, maintain store cleanliness, and assist customers.Position Type: Part-TimeTypically Less Than 30 Hours per Week is the Expected DurationA rate of $18.50 per hour is provided to novices in the workforceDuties and Responsibilities:The employee is required to execute duties with or without reasonable accommodation.• Participates in group projects and relays pertinent information to their immediate supervisor• Ensures the security and privacy of documents and data within their sphere of influence• Further undertakings as requiredCashier Responsibilities:• Carries out sales transactions, undertakes regular cleaning chores, sets-up shop displays and showcases products in a visually appealing manner• Customers are assisted with their shopping requirements to ensure their satisfaction• Ensures that upper management is kept aware of all product matters, such as inventory shortages, scanning errors, and other issues that could impact the store's bottom line• Cooperates in taking store inventory counts according to the guidelines and ascertaining inventory accuracy• Effective management of cash can be achieved by strictly following the policies and procedures designed to minimize lossesStocker Responsibilities:• Guaranteeing the availability of fresh products for customers by stocking shelves and rotating items frequently• By closely following the guidelines laid out in a merchandising planogram, one can effectively design eye-catching and visually appealing product setups• Arranging recently-delivered items in a structured manner and eliminating vacant boxes by breaking them down is a critical activity• The successful candidate will be capable of operating machinery safely and implementing standard safety guidelinesPhysical Demands:• Being employed at the store necessitates performing a variety of physical motions, which comprise sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking• Stocking Associate: Ability to transfer merchandise from store receiving to shelves; dexterity in placing products, weighing up to 45 pounds, on various shelving heightsQualifications:• Participants must have completed their eighteenth year to be eligible• The dexterity to deliver speedy and obliging customer support• Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks to meet the cleanliness benchmarks of the company• Interacting with company policies and procedures requires careful consideration of a variety of factors.
