Location: Huron Clinic – Huron, SD

Position: Certified Nurse Practitioner

Job Type: Full-time hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm) (no weekends or holidays)

• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests – in clinic Laboratory, Ultrasound, Xray, EKG, Dexascans
• Prescribe medications and promote wellness plans
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of medical record documentation.

• Valid and unrestricted license as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization in Family Practice
• 1 year experience preferred, not required
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Athena preferred)
• Experience in utilization review
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and member of our healthcare team
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
