Description
We are seeking a dynamic Event Marketing Manager to elevate our engagement with consumers and partners through innovative and impactful events across the Americas. This pivotal role involves strategizing, planning, executing, and managing partner-led events, ensuring exceptional experiences that resonate with our audience.
Travel Requirements
• 30-50% domestic travel within the US
• Frequent visits to San Francisco, CA to collaborate with the global events team• Regular event activity in LA, Las Vegas, NYC, Dallas, and occasional travel to Detroit for partner eventsKey ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & Planning• Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with marketing objectives and brand vision, utilizing creative insights, innovations, and industry best practices.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and align event needs across the Americas.Event Execution & Management• Lead the planning, execution, and management of partner-led events, ensuring they are on brand, on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.• Write event RFPs and briefs, and oversee agency management to maintain event standards.• Manage contracts and relationships with external event agencies to deliver innovative and engaging event experiences.Key Initiatives for FY25• Oversee the design, build-out, demo content, lead generation, performance, and updates for a unique home experience at a leading consumer electronics retailer.• Manage event plans, concepts, build, deployment, success metrics, and operations for pop-up events with partners at the Live concert venue at Park MGM.• Identify and manage vendor relationships to provide turnkey purchase and installation support for enabled home theater systems, supporting an always-on influencer program.• Develop a mobile event experience strategy with design agencies and internal teams to bring immersive experiences to life for partner employee events and consumer events linked to cultural moments.• Support Americas-specific partner events across various sectors, including automotive, cinema, and home.Metrics & Reporting• Establish and track success metrics for all events, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.• Provide regular reports on event performance and impact, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, business groups, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful event execution.• Balance the needs of various stakeholders within a dual reporting structure.QualificationsEducation• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.Experience• 5+ years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully executing high-profile events.• Experience in managing external event agencies and contractors.• Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.• Passion for creating innovative, high-quality events that resonate with both consumers and partners.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in the technology or entertainment industry.• Previous agency experience is highly preferred.• Familiarity with relevant products and technologies.• Knowledge of event management software and tools.Requirements• Local candidates to Los Angeles, CA preferred (hybrid work environment, with remote work unless onsite attendance at events is needed)• 30-50% domestic travel• Initial length of assignment: 12 months with the possibility of extension based on team fit and performanceJoin us in creating unforgettable experiences that truly make a difference!Employment Type: Full-Time
