As an MRI Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures with the utmost care using advanced MRI technology. Your day will involve preparing patients by explaining the MRI process, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. You'll be responsible for positioning patients accurately and utilizing effective scanning techniques to collect top-notch images essential for precise diagnoses. Comfort and reassurance will be your priority as you monitor patients throughout the scanning, addressing any concerns they may have. Collaboration is key here, as you'll partner closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and aid in the overall patient management process. We also trust you to maintain accurate records and adhere strictly to safety protocols to guarantee optimal imaging outcomes. Ideally, you'll come equipped with a current MRI Technologist certification and a Florida state license, along with strong technical know-how of MRI equipment.
