Vermeer Heavy Equip Mechanic/Tech

Use your mechanical abilities to diagnose and repair Vermeer machinery and components. Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required.
Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
Ability to weld effectively
Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed. (using CDK Global)
Create estimates for repair costs within work orders.
Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
All other duties as assigned.
