Alliance Director

We're looking for an Alliance Director to lead a world-class technology alliance program. The role will be accountable for the recruitment, development, and management for the Alliance ecosystem.

What would you do, if hired?

  • Drive strategy for increasing presence across various SaaS and technology ecosystems. Own all aspects of Celigo's alliance's program including the design and selection process.
  • Establish a programmatic approach to determine the major SaaS ecosystems to invest in including providing a high-level thesis for each.
  • Establish criteria for partner tiers and an operational model for working with targeted ecosystems ranging from large global partners to small partners adding value to specific segments and solutions.
  • Responsible for revenue influence to target across these ecosystems. Establish appropriate performance goals for channels while monitoring progress against those goals.
  • Create and drive alliance programs, including assisting with program definitions, oversight, pricing, and resources.
  • Partner with sales, pre-sales, the partner's organization, and other stakeholders towards building relationships, implementing go-to-market programs, generating leads, influencing business, and fulfilling services.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to provide partners that add value to our current and prospective customers, identify incremental opportunities, and assist in targeted sales pursuits.

Who are we looking for?

  • 10+ years working in Strategic Alliance, Business Development, and Sales
  • Understanding of Technology Alliance Partner ecosystems with the ability to articulate the value Technology Alliances represent
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with prospects, existing customers, and partners
  • Experience with lead development, lead follow-up, lead qualification, and selling over the phone and via email
  • Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with cloud business ecosystems, such as CRM, ERP, and Data Warehouse
  • Have strong people leadership skills with a proven ability to develop highly engaged team of Alliance Managers

Pay Scale Information

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $170,000 per year and $200,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
