Chief Product Officer (Triive)

FIELDBOOK, a studio operated by High Alpha Innovation, is dedicated to creating and accelerating advantaged retail technology startups. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Product Officer.

Our product, “Triive”, is the first relationship management platform built for retail sales teams. We are streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting brokers in their interactions with both CPG brands and retail buyers. This platform directly integrates with value-added software applications and service providers to extend its retail capabilities. Eventually, this platform can be augmented to support emerging brands seeking to manage their own “sell-in” opportunities with major retailers.

As CPO, you will be working closely with the product-led Entrepreneur in Residence and will be responsible for driving Triive's product vision, strategy, and execution to refine and scale the product architecture. You will lead technological innovation, ensuring the platform’s growth and impact within the retail and CPG industry.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced startup environment, where you’ll collaborate with the Fieldbook Studio team to redefine how CPG brands and retailers connect.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and drive the product roadmap to align with business goals and customer needs in retail and CPG.
  • Own the entire product lifecycle, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and writing product tickets.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate product concepts to stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment of product features.
  • Attend customer and investor meetings to gather insights, validate product direction, and present product strategy.
  • Identify key growth levers and implement feedback loops to refine the product and improve user adoption.
  • Improve processes for faster, more efficient product releases while maintaining product quality.
  • Operate as both a strategic leader and an executor, comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a small team.
  • Assist in preparing investor materials and product demos to support fundraising initiatives.

  • Proven success as a CPO at an early-stage SaaS company.
  • A deep understanding of the retail technology, CPG industry, and challenges faced by stakeholders.
  • Experience with taking stakeholder and customer feedback to deliver feature prioritization.
  • Deep experience in prototyping with tools such as Figma.
  • Experience presenting product vision and strategy to investors and supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Strong understanding of modern software architectures, cloud technologies, and API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS product development, agile methodologies, and working with engineering teams.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Willingness to iterate quickly, take ownership, and navigate the uncertainties of an early-stage startup.
  • Competitive compensation. This will be a 1099 position until Triive is launched and incorporated
  • A collaborative, flexible, and entrepreneurial environment with a proven venture studio playbook
  • A highly validated concept and business model hypothesis developed by our team
  • The support of the venture studio and platform services, our goal is to surround the startup with world-class expertise in every discipline required to build a market-leading company
