Opportunity
Axcel Learning is seeking a Marketing Leader to create a centralized marketing center of excellence in support of the seven growing brands within Axcel Learning’s portfolio. Your primary role will include continuously iterating and optimizing the marketing spend for each Brand to realize its overall revenue and EBITDA growth. You will have the opportunity to design and build out the marketing function as you see fit. You’ll be revenue-focused, strategically inclined, and able to speak to CFOs as easily as you speak to creative agency leaders. You will work directly with the CEO of each Brand as a trusted partner to drive business growth and achieve relevant KPIs.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy:
Develop a clear marketing strategy for Axcel’s portfolio of B2B and B2C Brands, including market segmentation, personas, messaging, content plan, and channel strategy.
Leadership:
Build a trusted partnership with each Brand's CEO, sales leaders, and marketing teams.
Identify, recruit, and manage 2 Growth Market Specialists.
Set clear roles and responsibilities for each member of the Marketing team.
Pipeline Coverage:
Collaborate with Brand CEOs to generate new business pipeline across all Axcel Learning Brands.
Reporting Dashboard:
Establish comprehensive reporting to track month-over-month metrics for MQLs, pipeline coverage, ROAS, etc.
External Partner Management:
Create a preferred list of Marketing agencies/vendors and oversee project requests from Brand CEOs to reduce average project spend.
Axcel Learning Brand Development:
Evolve the Axcel Learning brand story geared toward enterprise customers, founders and future buyers.
Partner with Axcel Learning's M&A team and create a collateral library for founder outreach.
Develop a Market Segmentation document targeting top enterprise companies for Axcel Learning to market.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum [4] years of demonstratable experience in providing strategic marketing leadership to drive growth, ideally across both B2B and B2C settings.
Proven track record in developing marketing strategy, budget and tactical execution planning to achieve specific marketing and organizational metrics.
Excellent team management skills, with experience of managing multiple people in the past and contributing to a positive, collaborative, winning culture.
High proficiency in defining core marketing KPIs and connecting them with revenue growth, with an ability to analyze report trends and make data-driven adjustments.
Analytical mindset with a data driven approach to decision making.
Proven expertise in B2B customer buying committee mapping and creating Buyer Persona profiles.
Proficiency in SEO, website, and content management.
Experience with paid advertising campaigns, LinkedIn Advertising, Google Analytics, and email marketing.
Extensive familiarity with Salesforce, Pardot, Outreach a plus

Ability and willingness to travel. We anticipate 4-5 domestic trips annually.
Compensation & Benefits
$140,000 - $180,000 annual base salary

Axcel Learning anticipates the OTE for this to range from $140,000-$180,000 base + 10% Bonus and will depend on current market data and the candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on several factors.
