Job ID : 2725186 Amazon Web Services, Inc.AWS is expanding its North American Outbound Customer Acquisition Sales team in Austin.As a Customer Acquisition leader, you'll manage a team of representatives to generate high-quality sales opportunities and accelerate customer growth.You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AWS service adoption and market expansion. Your role involves strategic planning, stakeholder management, and developing early career talent through coaching and mentoring.You'll focus on helping your team exceed KPIs, build sales and leadership skills, and advance within AWS Global Sales. This position is crucial for pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and fostering a talent development flywheel across the organization.Success will be measured by building an operationally excellent team. You will rely on data and analysis provided by operations teams, but also self-generated, to dive deep into performance trends and inform decisions to produce successful outcomes.As a manager, you will be responsible for upholding Amazon’s goal of Striving to be Earth’s Best Employer through effective hiring, people management, coaching, and culture building.Key job responsibilities Manage team in building qualified sales pipeline through prospecting and early customer conversations.Identify challenges and develop scalable solutions for the team and broader organization.Coach and develop early career talent in sales skills and Amazon Leadership Principles.Act as a trusted advisor on Customer Acquisition to sales leaders and cross-functional teams.Manage team performance against KPIs including outbound calls, meetings scheduled, and opportunity creation.Continuously develop technical knowledge and understanding of customer business issues.Contribute to broader Customer Acquisition initiatives like culture-building and new tool piloting.A day in the life Thinks of themselves as a coach and spends 50% of day developing employees.Adaptive management style, able to move swiftly and decisively.Holds themselves and team accountable for delivering results.Metric driven mindset, through consistent inspection and analyzing.managing teams of 10 or more· Proven track record of metrics and quota achievement· Demonstrated record of people development.Ability to dive deep into data, find meaning and deliver outcomes.· BA / BS degree or relevant experience· Experience with CRMPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Demonstrated record of people development· Ability to dive deep into data, find meaning and deliver outcomes· Proven track record of metrics and quota obtainment· Strong leadership skills with a focus on associate development· Experience developing and executing multi-modal, targeted campaigns· Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve common goal· Experience with using data and trends to articulate business needs· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus· Salesforce.com experienceAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
