The Home Design Team is seeking an innovative, action-oriented, and analytical Associate Program Manager with experience in Interior Design to help us build next-generation 3D shopping experiences.
This forward-looking initiative is an opportunity to leverage design expertise while partnering with category leaders to bring to life inspirational and immersive shopping spaces at scale. The Associate Program Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow to develop 3D stores, partnering closely with internal product and technology teams. The Associate Program Manger will coordinate the build of elevated, aspirational, immersive stores that allow customers to discover and evaluate products from top brands side-by-side, true-to scale. They will set program goals, build and execute roadmaps, drive efficiencies in team processes, develop mechanisms to audit 3D spaces at scale, and review learnings to continually raise the bar for the customer experience.
The Associate Program Manager is passionate about design and has hands-on experience with program or product management in an Interior Design, Architecture or Furniture Design field. They know how to create visually appealing spaces and hold a high bar for customer trust and operational efficiency. The Associate Program Manager is highly analytical, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is able to deliver on multiple projects in parallel. They are able to move quickly, spot risks, ask the right questions, clear blockers, and deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
Manage end-to-end workflow of new store creation
Dive deep into data to define category selection and merchandising strategies; write SQL queries and build dashboards to drive decision making
Improve visual browsing/discovery of product selection, where store design helps elevate perception of quality
Track deliverables against work back schedules to ensure on time delivery
Communicate team progress to broader organization and to leadership
Perform final QA and compliance checks of the digital store prior to launch
Influence partner teams to enhance tools and systems based on program findings
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”; strong skills in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups) and experience writing and editing SQL queries
- Experience working in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Furniture Design, Visual Merchandising or product Marketing
- Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Track record of managing and troubleshooting technical and business integration projects
- Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination
- Experience with 3D Visualization, ASIN selection, strategic planning
- Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management
- Aptitude for being organized with flexibility and for delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of developing high quality interior design rooms and renders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
