Our mission is to offer the world’s most customer-centric video advertising.The GMAC Economics team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer that will work with science and engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines and reporting tools within the rapidly evolving Prime Video with Ads (PVa) space. The candidate will own end-to-end data solutions for model prototyping, experimental design, productionized customer experiences, and leadership facing advanced analytics. The ideal candidate can convert intuitive customers requests into rapidly prototyped minimum lovable data products, and explain how their solutions best fit customer needs.Key job responsibilities• Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support scientists, product and program managers, and customer reporting needs.• Standardize, document and socialize metrics to relevant stakeholders.• Translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements. Work with internal customers to define best output based on expressed stakeholder needs.• Rapidly prototype datasets for ad hoc analyses.• Manage and deliver multiple complex business requests simultaneously.Basic Qualifications• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools• Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the businessPreferred Qualifications• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab• Experience analyzing and interpreting data with PysparkAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
