DescriptionPrime Finance is looking for an innovative, data-driven Financial Manager to support some of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon. This is a high-visibility role that offers opportunity for career growth; the role requires a self-driven candidate with a mix of business judgement, ability to work with complex data, controllership and automation skills. This role will support WW Prime Price Change, Monetization, and Prime Business Model evaluation where Prime Program has been launched, and build/improve metrics to evaluate program performance across countries. This role will partner across functional teams and help create long term pricing forecasts for the customer-loved Prime Program. If you enjoy using analytical skills to shape strategy and building scalable tools to drive quick decisions this will be a good match.Key job responsibilities• Facilitating financial review meetings with Business and Finance stakeholders to support decision making.• Driving thought leadership in the area of quantifying the value of distinct customer behaviors.• Creating and improving financial metrics, reports and scorecards.• Developing and leveraging relationships within a highly matrixed organizational structure.• Being comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.• Ability to operate in fast-paced environmentBasic Qualifications• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience• BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experiencePreferred Qualifications• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience• MBA, or CPA• Knowledge of SQL/ETL• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
