Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to be a key partner supporting our Global Services business. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, creative, flexible finance leader to help us redefine the tech industry. As a Finance Manager, you will work side by side with business and finance leaders leveraging your team to develop business strategies, financial models, and analytical insights while establishing the processes and mechanisms necessary to deliver work efficiently.The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have a demonstrated ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, financial analyses, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The role operates in a global, results-oriented environment and will provide decision support and advice for key business leaders.Key job responsibilitiesDrive alignment across Senior leadership and various finance groups including Services, Infra and SMGS on GS investmentsProvide strategic support to key business initiatives and investmentPlay a critical role in cost management, controllership, business case development, decision-making, and metrics developmentIdentify financial improvements, deep dive on investments, with a keen eye on scaling for future growth and improving our customer experienceDevelop new performance metrics and rhythm of the business processes to drive accountability and controllership
