Our teams are responsible for developing the services and experiences that power the AWS marketing website (aws.amazon.com).The AWS Marketing Customer Experience Engineering (CX Engineering) team builds and manages front-end components, services, and tools, used to power aws.amazon.com and support our internal authoring tools. Our services are used internally across many different teams in AWS and externally by millions of AWS users. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Front-End Engineer on the CX Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering delightful experiences for AWS customers, standing up services that allow us to move faster and deliver across marketing channels, and collaborating across multiple AWS organizations to ensure we are showcasing the power of AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative and engaging customer-facing solutions that leverage the latest front-end technologies and best practices. Your contributions will directly impact the way AWS customers interact with our products and services, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will play a key role in streamlining development processes and improving overall team efficiency through the development of reusable components and services.About the teamWe have built a highly respected software engineering team which is focused on delivering consistent and delightful experiences for AWS customers.We are looking for a talented Front-End Engineer to join our growing team. In this role will be working with the rest of the team to drive excellence via strong code delivery and collaboration with the design and product teams.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and NodeAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
