Amazon Business seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Amazon Business Supplier Operations team that oversees Selection, Inventory, B2B Programs and Tech development, with a team of 2 finance managers. This role requires a senior finance leader partnering with business and tech leaders to evaluate trade-offs and prioritization on resource investment. To support that, the role requires significant expertise to make the right tradeoffs and focus on the right priorities given the ambiguity of these brand-new projects. Core responsibilities include: (i) partnering with the business to solve complex financial and operational challenges with worldwide scope, (ii) influencing and delivering results through actionable insights and financial recommendations, (iii) leading the team through the month end close process and (iv) leading return on investment evaluation to support resources prioritization. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with business partners and get exposure to senior leaders, and become a subject matter expert. We are looking for individuals who can engage business partners to drive results and who welcome the challenge of building structure and supporting high growth in a fledgling organization with senior management visibility. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Arlington, VA, USA | Austin, TX, USA | Nashville, TN, USA | New York, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USA Basic Qualifications • 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 10+ years of finance experience OR Master’s degree and 8+ years of finance experience Preferred Qualifications • MBA, or CPA Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
