Principal Technical Program Manager - Cloud Security, UnifiedAuthJob ID: 2704278 | Amazon.com Services LLCWhat you will do:In this role you will play a pivotal role in disambiguating complex requirements, driving clarity, building consensus and defining architectural strategies that raise the bar on security, privacy, and availability while simplifying the Amazon builders' experience.As the Principal Technical Program Manager in the UnifiedAuth organization, you will own programs, planning, and client engagement that drive a zero-trust security model across Amazon. The TPM builds internal mechanisms to maximize the capacity of UnifiedAuth across engineering teams spread across multiple locations. With thousands of client teams, the TPM, in partnership with peer PMTs, builds customer-facing mechanisms to improve roadmap prioritization, transparency, and customer satisfaction. You will leverage high-judgement in determining risks, trade-offs, opportunity cost, and benefits in prioritizing work. Leaders in this space need to create a culture of innovation, encouraging their colleagues to find new and better ways to identify and solve problems.Key job responsibilitiesWho you are:As the ideal candidate, you will be experienced in managing cross-cutting technical programs and projects with industry-wide impact. You will have a proven track record of shipping complex software solutions through an agile methodology. You will have the ability to dive deep into the understanding of problems in order to help engineering and business teams and leaders make the right decisions. You will be a strong communicator and will have proven abilities in leading through ambiguous situations.You will be surrounded by people who are smart, passionate about cloud computing, security, and believe that world-class support is critical to customer success.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of technical program management experience- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience managing security programs across organizations running large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environmentAbout the team:Who We Are: Unified Authorization is responsible for securing customer and corporate communication across all of Amazon.
