DescriptionThe Fire tablets team is looking for a passionate and customer obsessed Product Marketing Manager to help shape the future of Tablet content engagement. The PMM will own the strategy to drive engagement with key tablet use cases (e.g. Video watching, Gaming) by developing long-term marketing strategies and execution, and partnering with Product and Engineering to launch delightful new experience on behalf of Tablet customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguous and strategic white-space areas for the business. They have outstanding business acumen, a restlessness to answer “why?” questions, strong analytical abilities, superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. He/she will work closely with product managers, marketing, and finance to help drive business results.Key job responsibilities• Become a subject matter expert on their Fire Tablet use cases, and develop marketing strategies to drive high-value actions, engagement, monetization and retention.• Manage prioritization and tradeoffs across multiple strategic marketing programs and establish streamlined business processes.• Partner closely with product to create the best customer experience for the Tablet use cases they own.• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the overall strategy to meet customer adoption and financial goals• Engage with business intelligence, engineering, and merchandising teams to create and execute a test and learn plan to drive engagement, prevent churn, and design plans to support key business initiatives in a scalable way• Write proposals, campaign performance reviews, and deep dive analyses to understand use case trends and actions to improve.About The TeamThe Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle, Fire tablet, Fire TV, and Echo. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
