We're specifically looking for a strong analytical thinker with excellent communication skills who can improve our team's infrastructure and build new analytical visualization tools for various purposes.You will participate in all phases of science projects, including big data understanding, designing and implementing product experiment, automating analytical metric mechanism, and communicating results. You will earn trust from our business partners by collaborating with them to define key research questions, communicate scientific approaches and findings, listen to and incorporate their feedback, and deliver successful solutions.Key job responsibilities• Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes• Design structured, multi-source data/statistics solutions to deliver results• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, statistics and visualization solution• Preprocess and analyze unstructured text data by NLP techniques to understand customer needs and product enhancement• Conduct A/B test experiment to support product dial-up decision• Lead the technical project end-to-end lifecycle.Basic Qualifications• 10+ years of professional or military experience• 5+ years of SQL experience• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results• Experience with AWS technologies• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data miningPreferred Qualifications• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadershipAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
