Job Title: Data Scientist - Computer Vision Project Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid Project Duration: 12 + months Role: This individual will lead the data science efforts. Team Composition: The team includes Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Analysts. Focus: 98% of the work involves unstructured data, primarily in imaging (3D images, movies, etc.). Expertise: Must be knowledgeable in Computer Vision or AI.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor junior Data Scientists.Understand the entire AI lifecycle.Collaborate with the MLOps team.Engage in coding, presentations, and publishing papers.Preferred Qualifications:PhD (preferred for research publication).Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred but not required).Objective: Deliver projects related to Computer Vision.Job Type: Potential for a temporary to permanent position.Top Skills:Python, Tensorflow, PytorchAble to put the code into a modularized fashion for the MLOps teamUnderstanding of Computer Vision worldFamiliarity with AWS
