DescriptionAmazon Devices is looking for a Sr. Asset Lifecycle Program Manager to join Devices Brand Studio (DBS). DBS exists to define and drive brand love for Amazon Devices & Services through strategic, creative storytelling at a global scale that inspires customers to choose, use, and trust our products. To achieve this, we invest in brand strategy, creative development, operational infrastructure, and AI enhancements to create brand experiences and storytelling that helps customers understand, navigate, purchase, use, and truly enjoy our product and service portfolio.As a Sr. Asset Lifecycle Program Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our operational infrastructure and use of AI in our workflows. You will own the design technology that will build the foundation for DBS’ asset management lifecycle. This includes DAM, BOX, physical/cloud infrastructure for data backups and vision for the foundation for working and final files. Our goal is to enable partners across the Devices and Services organization frictionless access to Brand Studio’s on-brand assets for use in a variety of marketing channels and scaling tools.As a Sr. Asset Lifecycle Program Manager on this team, you will lead the planning, coordination, architecture, implementation and maintenance of our asset management program for working files, digital files, photography and video assets. You will strategize the evolution of asset management to meet the Devices and Services Organization’s evolving asset needs while ensuring assets are easily accessible, properly tagged and secure. You will work alongside Creatives, Designers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers to develop the vision and roadmap for this program.While you’re key responsibility is asset lifecycle you will also work closely with the Design Operations team to identify workflow tools and guide the team to a cohesive workflow where all tools work together to create an efficient, seamlessly and automated (where possible) content supply chain.Key job responsibilities• Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital assets, including images, videos, documents, and other multimedia files.• Implement and maintain a robust metadata strategy to ensure assets are properly tagged and easily searchable.• Manage the lifecycle of digital assets, including archiving, version control, and deletion policies.• Serve as the primary administrator for the DAM system, ensuring it is configured to meet the needs of the business.• Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand their asset needs and workflows.• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all digital assets meet licensing, copyright, and regulatory requirements.• Own the Program Reviews and OP1 planning for your area of expertise.• Create KPI’s and create feedback loops to continuously evaluate and improve your program• Identify and implement new tools and technologies to streamline asset management workflows.• Lead DAM-related projects, including system upgrades, new feature implementations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.Basic Qualifications• 10 + years professional experience in building Asset Management platforms and workflows• Experience building, supporting and maintaining enterprise level DAM and design production workflow solutions• Experience managing assets including migrations, tagging, and maintaining standards• Advanced knowledge of taxonomies, vocabularies, and general schemas in relation to asset• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, coordinating release schedules and measuring success• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences• Operational mindset with strong attention to detail and drive for results• Demonstrated ability to organize team processes and workflow to guarantee delivery of stakeholder requirements• Ability to partner with others to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems• A proven track record of prioritizing and delivering projects in an ambiguous and changing environment• Proven track record of delivering results and earning trust• Excellent verbal and written skills, experience educating non-technical stakeholders and working across multiple teams and regionsPreferred Qualifications• Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data• Understanding of audio and image encoding formats and their respective applications• Fluent in file naming best practices and enforcement• Proficient in documentation and utilizing documentation to effect change throughout a team or organization• Strong problem solving and analytical skills• Excellent facilitation and presentation skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
