This product designer will work with the world s best talent to invent, innovate and inspire groundbreaking new products while also working on some of the best loved brands in the game's business including Jenga, Simon, Operation, Candyland and many more!In this role you will partner in all aspects of the design process, creating unique gameplay solutions with fun and upbeat experiences. You will work with an outstanding cross-functional team of graphic designers, writers, engineers, project managers and marketers to bring new, exciting games to market, delighting kids and preschoolers around the globe.A day in the life as a Product Designer for Hasbro Gaming• Brainstorm amazing new game ideas and consistently apply on-trend design insight.• Build innovative, robust, consumer-centric game and play experiences.• Collaborate with partners across multiple functions, including graphic design, writing, engineering and marketing to develop classic game brand extensions, new games and the stories that bring them to life.• Act as a key contributor in the overall project and technical Design & Development efforts of multiple brands/product lines. This includes sketching design concepts, building models, filming and editing pitch videos, and consumer testing.• Generate and deliver comprehensive design specs and documentation in a timely manner.• Understand and contribute to overall brand team design vision.• Be ready for the unexpected, have fun every day, and play lots of games.What you ll bring• Phenomenal ideation capabilities, both alone and in group settings; drive brainstorming sessions and progress, turning key insights into jaw-dropping product executions.• Strong communication and presentation skills while working collaboratively and communicating sophisticated ideas efficiently.• Excellent mock-up, crafting, model making skills to iteratively test ideas through building and playing.• Comfort prioritizing and working through multiple projects at various stages of development.• We are looking for a tech savvy, curious tinkerer with a proficient knowledge of current social and technical trends.• Show a desire and aptitude to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving, fast-paced, creative environment.• Disciplined, self-managed, and self-motivated with a strong can-do work ethic.• Bachelor s Degree in Toy or Game Design, Industrial Design, or comparable field of study paired with a minimum 2 years experience within a design role.• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is required.• We feel it's a plus to have experience using Rhino/SolidWorks/zBrush and Premiere/After Effects.• Knowledge and expertise within game design industry is preferred.• Manufacturing knowledge and an understanding of how things are made.• Bring your engaging personality, sense of humor, and willingness to have fun!Hasbro s world-class brands and talented people are our greatest assets.
