DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager to conceive and lead development of new monetization solutions and tools in support of our devices advertising business. This role will entail partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders, and owning products that align customer benefits with long-term financial goals.This individual will engage with related product and program managers, advertising, finance, and leadership teams across Amazon marketplaces (e.g., Prime Video, Amazon Advertising, App Store, etc.). This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences, and can deliver business results under ambiguous circumstances and tight timelines.We’re looking for customer experience-minded entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of product ownership and inventiveness, and want to have fun while making history. This job can be based in Seattle, WA.Key job responsibilities• Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, advertiser experience, performance and operational support load• Work closely with engineering teams and business teams to deliver products to market• Look around corners to anticipate needs and develop great solutions for customers• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goalsA day in the lifeThis role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with business development, engineering, advertising, finance, product and executive teams. You will own complex projects with many stakeholders, which means you need to deeply understand the product vision, socialize it, think holistically and make tradeoff decisions that weigh strategic benefits and long-term value. You will lead across functional teams and drive consensus among contributors, delivering what you need for our customers. You will apply analytical and technical rigor, work effectively in a matrixed organization, and synthesize a variety of capabilities into high quality, durable solutions that customers and advertisers love.About The TeamThe Entertainment Devices and Services (Fire TV, Tablet, and Alexa) Advertising & Monetization team combines unique content experiences, advertising, smart TVs, Alexa, and mobile/tablet technologies to help our customers discover and engage with content and help Amazon lower prices. We operate at Amazon scale, designing and deploying software that is enjoyed by tens of millions of active users globally. We solve significant customer problems in the consumer electronics space through devices, mobile applications, computer vision, and machine learning.Basic Qualifications• 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition• Experience with end to end product delivery• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements• Bachelor's degree or equivalentPreferred Qualifications• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market.
