We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager -Technical to lead the creation of inventory optimization tools and features for the grocery business, including both physical stores and online sales (omnichannel). This role has a combination of white space opportunity and known but highly complex priorities, and the successful PMT will be able to navigate a broad set of stakeholders and requirements with ease to drive development of successful tools and features.Invention is second nature at Amazon, and the pace of innovation is only accelerating, and the breadth of our businesses expanding. From Day 1, Product Managers are given ownership of large products; the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business. Over their careers, successful Product Managers will be exposed to multiple businesses/products, and pushed to grow into senior level general managers that independently run large business segments and organizations.This PMT position will be part of the Inventory Health team supporting Amazon’s Grocery Supply Chain Technology team. We are the team that builds tools to continuously decide how to Optimize inventory that is already in our network (e.g. markdowns, returns, liquidation) with the goal to eliminate shrink, food waste, and capacity constraints. The PMT will have access to best-in-class Science and Engineering support, which is in-org and already established, to drive strategic 3-5 year roadmaps for Grocery inventory optimization. In addition to Science/Engineering collaboration, this PMT will work with WW business stakeholders to ensure a sound understanding of business priorities/requirements and to execute feature launches.This position's location is flexible (open to Irvine, Seattle, New York, and Austin).Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product• Experience managing technical products or online services• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPreferred Qualifications• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight• Experience in building and driving adoption of new toolsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
