Description• This role is able to sit in Bellevue, WA, Phoenix, AZ, Austin TX, or New York, New York*Amazon's North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Supply Chain Strategy team is seeking an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager to own the creation of ramp to peak including arc changes. In this role, you will design and model supply chain solutions, driving strategic initiatives to build and optimize Amazon's supply chain network.You will leverage your expertise to influence, innovate, and deliver tactical and strategic solutions that solve complex supply chain challenges in North America. Operating with significant autonomy, you will identify stakeholder needs, develop network strategies, and implement end-to-end supply chain solutions. This includes representing work independently, developing new organizational processes, and driving organizational agility to meet both short and long-term goals for speed, cost, and placement.Key Responsibilities• Manage complex supply chain problems by partnering with cross-functional teams to identify simple, customer-centric solutions• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive standard work, alignment, and productivity optimization• Model and drive best practices, identify customer experience opportunities, and present findings/resolutions in cross-team meetings• Initiate new ideas, create metrics, problem solve using data, and implement strategic solutions with far-reaching influence• Understand constrained environments and proactively mitigate supply chain risks, escalating issues through proper channels• Develop and negotiate agreements to reduce risk, manage supplier relationships, and drive performance improvements• Manage trade-offs, clearly presenting ramifications of actions/goals to leadership for decision-making• Troubleshoot current problems and analyze root causes to establish scaled mechanisms for resolution• Facilitate supply chain analysis to identify improvement opportunities and scale processes across businesses• Lead operational excellence as a change leader, proposing network-wide solutions to improve supply chain health• Influence without authority, leveraging relationship-building strengths to deliver on large strategic initiativesKey job responsibilities• Own the business cadence and governance (daily/weekly/monthly business reviews) for area of responsibility• Deliver action plans for general managers and directors, while being a trusted partner to these network leaders• Own annual planning and other adhoc planning cycles• Execute and drive internal team program/project delivery, execution, and adoption across multiple organizations and teams• Measure and report effectiveness of supply chain changes• Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs• Navigate competing priorities and optimize for the best solution• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities• Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner• Build and maintain integrated reporting for areas of responsibility• Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas, and have the team's success firmly in your focus• Own goals/performance reporting• Ability to travel 20-25%Basic Qualifications• 5+ years of program or project management experience• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipPreferred Qualifications• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
