DescriptionAs a Sr. UX Designer you will craft simple, fluid, and beautiful experiences that help customers discover and purchase the best Deals & Promotions across Amazon. You have an inventor’s spirit, highly refined aesthetic sensibilities and a fine-tuned ability to contextually communicate the right thing in the right place at the right time to customers. Whether your goals are to explore new technologies, take on bigger opportunities, or get to the next level, we'll help you get there.Responsibilities• Use business requirements, market research and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements• Design conceptual sketches, wireframe information architecture, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications• Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency• Develop and maintain detailed design patterns that scale for your team and influence other designers• Lead brainstorming sessions and give presentations to drive design, demonstrating features and flows• Understand and respond to data (metric tests, usability studies), using that to inform future designBasic Qualifications• 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interactive design, or equivalent fieldPreferred Qualifications• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes• Experience with UX design of complex workflowsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
