The Alexa Daily Essentials team is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to create experiences that leverage the power of Alexa on Echo devices with screens, mobile apps (Alexa App), and other devices. This role will be focused on Home Productivity Essentials, improving how Alexa helps customers manage their daily household habits and activities - from calendar, timers, and alarms, to staying on top news topics and meal planning.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.You will work side-by-side with conversation designers, user researchers, product, and engineering to identify, define, and implement solutions that raise the bar on the Alexa customer experience. You must excel at communicating your designs effectively to the larger team and driving that vision into solid design deliverables. We’re looking for people who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of ownership, and want to have fun while they make history.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of design experienceHave an available online portfolioBachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), design or equivalent professional experienceHigh proficiency in a variety of design and prototype tools such as Sketch, Invision, Figma, Framer, Azure, and the Adobe Creative Suite; command of technologies (web, Android, iOS, etc.)Experience in conducting user research or in partnership with a UX ResearcherExperience crafting designs for voice interfaces is ideal, but not required. A strong interest in voice technology is a must.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of professional work experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role, on consumer productsAn online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions and UI design expertiseExperience crafting designs for devices with natural language inputAbility to extract complex concepts and quickly turn around rigorous flows and mockups reflecting a range of optionsAbility to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment A proven track record of insight based strategy leadershipVisual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guidesDeep understanding and leadership on driving design culture into organizations#J-18808-Ljbffr
