As an Engineer supporting Colleague Experience Technology Services, you will develop reporting and analytics solutions leveraging best-in-class vendor products and services to support the analytical needs for Colleague Experience Group (aka H.R.) stakeholders.

If you love building analytical solutions in an enterprise environment, engineering interfaces between systems, information security, and leveraging the latest technologies, we’ll support you with an open environment and learning culture to grow your career.

You will also have a sharp eye when it comes to Information Security and Platform Health to ensure all our products and services are secure and compliant within the ever-changing security landscape.

As a part of our technical team, you will work to bring ground-breaking and diverse ideas to life that power the digital systems, services, products, and platforms that our colleagues depend on.

Successful candidate for this role will be responsible for

  • Creating reusable data assets ready for analysis
  • Developing analytical reports to be consumed by key stakeholders leveraging Oracle Analytics, Power BI, & Tableau
  • Applying software engineering best practices to analytics code
  • Collaborating with product owners, delivery managers, vendors, engineers, architects, and key stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems and create solutions
  • Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of Software Development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Data Warehouse (DW), Data Modelling concepts, developing Physical, Business Model & Mapping (BMM) and SQL/PLSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with the design and development of backend data models for Reporting/Analytics and building of visualizations leveraging tools such as Power BI & Tableau.
  • Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with independent judgement.
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and the ability to influence key stakeholders.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle’s analytics offerings, such as interactive dashboards & reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OBIE, and OAC components like RPD, RDG, a plus

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
