As Principal SoC Logic Design Engineer, you’ll design logic and build new microarchitecture in Ampere's hyper scaler CPUs. You’ll work with DV (Design Verification), SE (Silicon Engineering), and performance architecture to build best-in-class hardware optimized for cloud computing.
Ampere's competitive edge depends on building CPUs optimized for cloud workloads. It poses a unique challenge, gives us opportunities to innovate, and makes our jobs fun. Our team has a start-up attitude: plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, plenty of room for innovation. We also have great mentors: industry veteran architects and designers who know how to build leadership products. We don’t do micromanagement. We don’t require meetings to make every decision. And we have fun while we do it all. When you interview, ask our team members about lunch time runs, bouldering, gaming (both video and board), current trends in IPA brewing, painting, and the proper way to cut a doughnut.
What you’ll achieve:
You'll be responsible for micro-architectural exploration and RTL feature development for our SoC designs, optimized for power, performance, area and frequency. You’ll co-optimize your designs with performance modeling, verification, and implementation teams from inception to silicon. You’ll learn and grow from senior engineers as we continue to build the best team in the business.
