At Amperos Health, we’re building AI coworkers to tackle the biggest administrative problems in US healthcare. Our first AI coworker automates calling insurance to find out why a claim was denied and how to fix it.
Our vision is that providers have a suite of AI co-workers that supercharge their workforce by dealing with all the workflows related to insurance, meaning they can spend less time on administrative tasks and more on what healthcare is meant to be about: patient care.
As an AI Research Engineer, you’ll get to work on problems at the intersection of healthcare and the frontier of applied AI. From overcoming anti-AI payors to improving the quality of results collected from an insurance agent, you’ll pave the latest developments in healthcare AI.
For the first 6 months as an AI Engineer on the team, you will be focused on two main issues: Anti-AI and improving Call Result Quality. You will be responsible for improving our Biller Success Rate (how good our results are compared to if a human biller were to make the call) and Call Success Rate (how often we are able to get results from anti-AI insurances).
Success for the role during this time looks like implementing several potential solutions, accompanied with measurable evaluations, that lead to multiple insurances that were previously anti-AI being unlocked and a substantial improvement in Biller Success Rate.
