Investment Analyst - Due Diligence

POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing in-depth research on asset managers and product providers, as well as collaborating with third-party strategists, product providers, and vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the onboarding and oversight of third-party asset managers, including conducting due diligence. Additionally, the analyst will help develop and implement processes and outputs that may not exist elsewhere.Amplify is rapidly growing and offers an incredible opportunity for advancement. Duties may vary from day to day, so the ability to be flexible and work enthusiastically on a variety of tasks is essential. Must be highly organized with attention to detail. Must be able to see projects through from start to finish while balancing multiple priorities at any given time.Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required. Must be able to pass a background check. Predictive Index test required.RESPONSIBILITIES· Conduct comprehensive research on asset managers and product providers to understand and document their processes and offerings.· Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decision-making processes.· Analyze previous investment decisions and document the thought process behind these decisions.· Lead the onboarding and oversight of third-party asset managers, ensuring compliance with company standards and conducting thorough due diligence.· Collaborate with third-party strategists, product providers, and vendors to gather and analyze data.· Compile and synthesize information from various asset managers that are part of the Amplify platform.· Monitor financial news and track market opportunities, risks, and new investment products.· Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.· Help develop and implement innovative processes and outputs tailored to the unique needs of our rapidly evolving environment.· Utilize advanced industry analytical tools and software.QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.· Proven experience (3+ years) in portfolio and/or security analysis.· Experience with onboarding and overseeing third-party asset managers and conducting due diligence.· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.· Experience with capital markets structure and trading.· Proficiency in investment analysis software and database management.· Familiarity with MSFT Power Platform, PowerQuery, SQL, NoSQL, Python, R, and/or other relational database and statistics platforms.· Experience with AI including machine learning and neural networks· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.· Adaptability to a fast-paced, startup environment and a willingness to develop new processes and solutions.· Pursuing or interested in pursuing CFA designation or other industry designations.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSSalary commensurate with experienceAbility to participate in bonus structureSubsidized health, dental, vision, accident/illness, disability, group life benefitsAccess to company 401(k) with matchABOUT AMPLIFYThe Amplify platform is a unified wealth management ecosystem focused on maximizing efficiency, improving client outcomes, and driving growth for the enterprise and advisor.
