Project Manager, Literacy Marketing (Remote)

The Project Manager, Literacy Marketing is at the center of all our campaigns and marketing projects to drive leads, MQLs, customer experience, and company brand awareness across all our literacy products and initiatives.


This role requires a diligent professional with a real commitment to teamwork and a demonstrated understanding of project management and digital marketing practices. The ideal candidate will be methodical, strategic, pay close attention to detail, and have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments concurrently across different teams. This person displays great creativity, flexibility, tenacity, good sense of humor and a high level of energy.


This position will be responsible for handling the online project management system, streamlining key processes, and identifying efficiencies in production and materials usage to make projects move more efficiently. Additionally, this role will be working with product marketers and our creative team to complete projects and marketing campaigns on tight schedules.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring campaign/project feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project plans and lead team resourcing for campaigns and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to schedule and prioritize a high volume of time-sensitive projects, campaigns, and design deliverables
  • Solicit, review, and incorporate feedback from all internal stakeholders during the briefing, planning, production, and post-production phases of a project
  • Continuously monitor and track project progress.
  • Identify risks and develop strategies (reactive or proactive) to address and solve issues
  • Handle competing priorities and timelines
  • Schedule and conduct kickoff and recurring project status meetings
  • Use multiple platforms for organizing, tracking, and managing projects.
  • Create, lead, and communicate project timelines leveraging Workfront (PM Software tool)
  • Engage in ongoing review of project management and workflow processes, working to continuously improve ease of use and efficiency
  • Bring awareness of industry knowledge and continuously stay in tune with market changes and opportunities


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision making skills
  • Shown experience handling multiple projects and campaigns effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Google Apps and other common professional software


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional work experience in the education and/or education technology field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
  • Workfront project management system experience
  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent


What we offer:


Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000.
