We are currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Order to Cash Operations, to be a part of the Amyris Business Center (“ABC”).
The role of Lead Specialist, Order to Cash Operations, will be responsible for the execution of the Order to Cash (O2C) process at Amyris. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strategic O2C operation that will proactively identify process improvements, modernize core systems and reimagine the business with digital solutions in a fast-paced environment. Applications include SAP and NetSuite, among others.
Responsibilities:- Support leadership and monitor workload for the Order to Cash process, including credit risk analysis, invoice resolution, deductions, collections and cash application.
- Lead the day-to-day needs of Specialist OTC by sharing knowledge and providing solutions to complex issues.
- Maintain and approve daily cash balancing to ensure accurate and timely payment application throughout the month and monitor Accounts Receivable Ledger for accuracy.
- Prepare weekly AR and cash reporting metrics to Accounting and Sales Managers after thorough review of both SAP and NetSuite systems.
- Partner with Accounting to execute all month end closing processes related to Order to Cash.
- Monitor EDI transmissions and work closely with client to ensure that transmissions are received. Work closely with Financial Applications Team to remedy any connection issues.
- Review and Report Key Business Metrics: timeliness and accuracy to support operational excellence and being able to adjust accordingly when changes arise, by being able to identify and build new Data Quality report metrics.
- Backup Order to Cash Manager and represent team in all process improvement projects and initiatives.
- Provide excellent business partnership to internal clients and external customers.
- Perform customer collections with tact and diligence, building strong customer relationships in the process.
- Ensure accurate and complete customer onboarding and master data management.
- Maintain compliance of in-scope activities according to company policies and internal controls, with robust supporting documentation.
- Gather and update data for sales tax related filings according to statutory guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for automation that will create efficiencies to enable high growth.
- Monitor and enhance controls environment in accordance with SOX.
Basic Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of experience with Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable processes.
- Experience with SAP is required.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP.
Preferred Qualifications:- BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with 3rd party or native Credit and Collections applications.
- Experience with Word and Excel and efficient data entry skills.
- Experience in providing dependable customer service and ability to successfully deal with external customers and internal clients.
- Experience performing in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience driving continuous improvement within a business.
- Absolute integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks and information.
- Adept at time management, ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Experience with communicating both verbal and written in a professional setting.

The annual pay range for this role is $69,000 to $102,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate’s skills, depth of experience and specific work location.
